You will manage a team, coordinate inspections, and drive a preventive maintenance program across HVAC, boilers, water systems, generators, and related equipment.

This role emphasizes strong leadership, hands-on technical know-how, and disciplined budgeting to control supplies and contractor work.

Qualifications

• Healthcare facility maintenance experience, especially in long-term care
• Knowledge of HVAC, boilers, water systems, and emergency systems
• Ability to implement and manage a preventive maintenance program
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Budgeting and supply ordering experience

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance operations: hire, train, and supervise maintenance team.
• Promote safety: conduct fire inspections and monthly drills.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance program.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC, boilers, water systems, generators.
• Order supplies and manage budget.
• Oversee external contractors.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Provide staff training on safety procedures.
• Plan staffing according to census and labor budgets
