Job summary

Peak Living is seeking a qualified Maintenance Supervisor to keep our communities in top condition and deliver excellent service to residents. The role includes supervising maintenance staff, coordinating move-ins, and operating within approved budgets.

The ideal candidate has hands-on apartment maintenance experience, strong leadership, HVAC knowledge with the goal of CFC certification within 90 days, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Hands-on knowledge of typical apartment maintenance tasks.
• Leadership skills to manage staff and collaborate with residents.
• HVAC knowledge and ability to obtain CFC certification within 90 days.
• Experience as Maintenance Supervisor or as a closely involved assistant.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist Community Manager with hiring, supervising, and staffing decisions as directed by Regional Manager.
• Teach skills to staff members and schedule work.
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure common areas are safe, in repair, and clean.
• Perform preventive maintenance for pools, parking lots, building exteriors, etc.
• Provide capital improvement recommendations and respond to service requests within 24 hours.
• Visit competing properties to inspect maintenance quality and manage parts orders.
• Continually educate staff on safe working conditions and OSHA guidelines.
