Job summary

Sunset Health Care Center is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the center's maintenance operations, ensuring safe and efficient facility performance. You will report to the Administrator on building conditions and the status of ongoing work.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, 1 year of experience, and the ability to operate a vehicle. Strong organizational and computer skills are required to manage staff and maintenance activities effectively.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience in institutional maintenance is preferred.
• Must be able to operate a vehicle.
• Moderate computer skills required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Strong organization and management skills.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Administrator regarding the center's physical and structural conditions.
• Perform tasks in a professional manner reflecting the department's integrity.
• Monitor staff matters including interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating performance.
• Develop, evaluate, and implement maintenance policies, goals, and standards.
• Administer the maintenance program to ensure uninterrupted center operation.
• Coordinate repair or replacement of equipment as necessary.
