Job summary

AUTOKINITON is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for its Plymouth, Michigan plant. This full-time role leads the maintenance team, drives safety, quality and on-time production, and reports to the Maintenance Manager.

The position emphasizes proactive supervision, prioritization of daily tasks, and engagement in continuous improvement initiatives to support operations and customer commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering or Industrial Technology is preferred.
• Minimum of six years as a maintenance supervisor is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance department safety, quality, production and delivery objectives in Plymouth plant.
• Provide proactive leadership to achieve continuous improvement within the team.
• Communicate and prioritize daily work assignments to the maintenance crew.
• Participate in root cause analysis and problem solving activities (8D reports, meetings).
• Ensure the team has the tools and materials to perform their roles safely and efficiently.

• Responsible for maintenance department safety, quality, production and delivery objectives in his/her are responsibility.
• Provide the proactive leadership necessary to achieve and maintain a continuous improvement mind set for the team.
• Communicate and prioritize daily work assignments to the team.
• Participate in root cause analysis and team problem solving activities (ex. 8D reports, department meetings, etc.)
• Responsible for ensuring the entire team has the necessary tools and materials to properly perform their roles safely and efficiently.

This full-time, salary, role is a part of our Maintenance team and reports to the Maintenance Manager.

SUCCESS FACTORS:

• Bachelors Degree in Applied Science in Manufacturing, Engineering or Industrial Technology preferred or eight (8) years of work experience.
• Minimum of six (6) years as a maintenance supervisor preferred.
