Job summary

AUTOKINITON, a Michigan-based automotive company, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead safety, quality, production, and delivery objectives within the maintenance department. The role is full-time and reports to the Maintenance Manager.

The successful candidate will provide proactive leadership to drive continuous improvement, communicate daily priorities to the team, participate in root cause analysis (e.g., 8D reports), and ensure the team has the tools and materials to perform safely

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Industrial Technology preferred or eight (8) years of relevant work experience.
• Minimum six years as a maintenance supervisor, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintenance department safety, quality, production and delivery objectives in his/her area.
• Provide the proactive leadership necessary to achieve and maintain a continuous improvement mind set for the team.
• Communicate and prioritize daily work assignments to the team.
• Participate in root cause analysis and team problem solving activities (ex. 8D reports, department meetings, etc.)
• Responsible for ensuring the entire team has the necessary tools and materials to properly perform their roles safely and efficiently.

SUCCESS FACTORS:

• Bachelors Degree in Applied Science in Manufacturing, Engineering or Industrial Technology preferred or eight (8) years of work experience.
• Minimum of six (6) years as a maintenance supervisor preferred.
