Job summary

Fresh Mark Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our Canton Plant to lead a team responsible for the performance of all facility equipment and systems.

You will direct maintenance on ammonia refrigeration, boilers, and central utilities, with emphasis on safe, efficient operation and minimal downtime. The role requires at least five years in refrigeration/utilities, strong leadership, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of practical experience in refrigeration and utilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead a team.
• Proficient with computers, including MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Experience planning and scheduling technicians.
• Demonstrated problem solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to work with employees at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of the Ammonia Refrigeration, Boiler Steam, Compressed Air, Hot Water and Central Fire Suppression Systems.
• Direct and lead team in installation, repair and preventive maintenance of equipment as needed.
• Limit and reduce mechanical downtime to keep production lines running at top efficiency.
• Plan, schedule and manage up to seven technicians on your team.
• Continually promote safety as a top priority.
• Provide technical assistance to all production and sanitation departments.
