Job summary

Hydro North Liberty is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead installation, maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment. You will guide a team to prioritize work based on production needs, schedule repairs, and support product development and improvements.

The role requires at least 2 years in industrial manufacturing with supervisory experience, and strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics. CMMS and Oracle experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in an industrial manufacturing setting, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong technical understanding across electrical, mechanical, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ability to learn and utilize CMMS, Oracle, and other relevant software for this role.
• Preferred knowledge of extrusion equipment and processes.
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and external agencies.
• Strong leadership qualities to motivate individuals, including communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Capacity to build partnerships with operations leadership across departments.
• Ability to lead a diverse team across various crafts.

Responsibilities

• Direct and schedule maintenance team activities to align with the production schedule.
• Develop and improve preventative maintenance programs.
• Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment and systems, with root-cause analysis.
• Ensure safety measures and training are implemented for team members.
• Maintain inventory of tools, parts and supplies required for maintenance work.
• Communicate equipment concerns and propose timely solutions to management.
• Update SOPs and work instructions as needed.
