Job summary

Avanti Residential is seeking a Service Manager to lead maintenance operations at The Row at Riverbend. You will direct a maintenance team, oversee budgeting, vendor coordination, and ensure high standards for move-ins and resident safety.

The role includes after-hours on-call duties, performance coaching, and collaboration with the Community Manager to reach property goals. A Wonderlic assessment may be required during hiring.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with property management maintenance.
• 1+ year of supervisory experience.
• EPA Type II or Universal Certification required.
• CAMT certification preferred but not required.
• CPO certification required where applicable.
• Strong communication and budgeting skills.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance staff with daily directions, priorities, and schedules.
• Maintain and schedule preventative maintenance and inspect units for move-ins.
• Complete work orders promptly to high safety standards.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies (on-call).
• Ensure curb appeal, inventory control, and vendor coordination.
• Collaborate with Community Manager to meet property goals.
