Job summary

POAH Communities in Providence, RI seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations at Aaron Briggs Manor, a senior housing property with 88 units. You will supervise staff, perform repairs, and ensure compliance with HUD and affordable housing standards.

Reporting to the Property Manager, you will manage work orders in Yardi, coordinate with vendors, and balance resident relations with safety and asset preservation.

Qualifications

• Three–Five years of direct experience in property management and related fields.
• Post high school education or supervised technical training preferred.
• Experience in electrical, plumbing and carpentry repairs for multifamily communities.
• Experience managing preventative and reactive maintenance and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Support the Property Manager by repairing and maintaining conditions meeting HUD/HUD regulations and standards.
• Manage work orders in Yardi and ensure completion within 24 hours.
• Ensure safety and preservation of assets; support resident relations with professionalism.
• Collaborate with the Regional Property Supervisor, colleagues, technicians and vendors to improve operations.
