Job summary
Custom Building Products in Frankfort, IN is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for a full-time salaried role. The position runs Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with leadership over mechanics across multiple shifts and collaboration with Manufacturing, Shipping, Warehousing, Receiving, and Maintenance to keep equipment running reliably.
You will develop methods to upgrade manufacturing processes, eliminate waste, reduce costs, and boost productivity.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years experience managing employees in a multi-shift plant environment.
- Experience with robotics, PLC, electrical, hydraulic and fluid power systems.
- Troubleshooting PLC software (preferably Allen Bradley) and reading schematics/blueprints.
- Light fabrication and ability to oversee and train.
- Strong planning, problem-solving, and project-management skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to mechanics on multiple shifts and coordinate with departments.
- Ensure reliable operation of plant equipment and drive process improvements to reduce waste and cost.
- Develop methods to upgrade manufacturing processes and improve production productivity.
