Job summary

Southwire Company is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team and ensure safe, efficient operations in line with the daily work schedule.

The role requires strong multi-craft maintenance background, proven supervisory experience, and focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement within industrial settings. The position supports continuous operation across plant floors and offices.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Diploma.
• 5–7 years experience in multi-craft maintenance, or 3+ years in a maintenance supervisory role.
• CMT or similar certification.
• 8–11 years in maintenance supervisory or 10+ years multi-craft maintenance experience.
• Education/experience combination accepted.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures.
• Coordinate daily maintenance work and inform craft of assignments.
• Ensure availability of plant equipment, tools and materials before starting a job.
• Communicate KPI performance and deviations to stakeholders.
• Lead emergency and urgent maintenance jobs efficiently.
• Review planned work packages and ensure timely completion.
• Participate in root cause analyses for incidents.
• Manage training and development; conduct skills assessments.
• Act as Management Representative during off-hours; handle scheduling and escalation.
• Perform other duties as assigned and ensure policy compliance.
