Job summary

Princeton Management is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee apartment maintenance teams, coordinate technicians, and ensure timely repairs. You will inspect units, respond to service requests, train staff, and enforce safety protocols, while maintaining high resident satisfaction.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry, plus two years in apartment maintenance and effective communication with residents and management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in apartment maintenance.
• Proven experience in supervising and leading a maintenance team.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general carpentry.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively communicate with residents, staff, and management.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training is a plus.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., HVAC, plumbing) will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team, including technicians, groundskeepers, and other staff members as deemed necessary.
• Work hands on with staff in all areas of the maintenance responsibilities.
• Conduct regular inspections of apartments, common areas, and amenities to identify and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
• Coordinate and prioritize maintenance requests, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Order and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Collaborate with property manager to address resident concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
