Job summary

Volvo Trucks is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team responsible for equipment, facilities, and support systems. You will drive preventive maintenance, coordinate with production, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities include supervising technicians, managing budgets, and resolving equipment problems while ensuring safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Five+ years in industrial, manufacturing, or facility maintenance.
• Experience leading maintenance teams and coordinating multi-department efforts.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily maintenance activities.
• Schedule and prioritize work orders based on safety and production needs.
• Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Inspect work for quality, safety and standards compliance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and facility issues.
• Maintain records of repairs, equipment history, and parts usage.
• Manage spare-parts inventory and coordinate orders.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and safety teams.
• Oversee outside contractors and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Investigate failures and implement corrective actions.
