Job summary

Brookside Properties is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for The Collins in Myrtle Beach, SC. Lead maintenance operations for a multifamily community, oversee grounds and facilities, and guide a team to respond to service requests promptly.

The role requires 5+ years of multifamily maintenance, EPA Type II/Universal certification, and strong HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and repair skills. A CPO cert and pool experience are a plus; HS diploma or GED is required; driving and basic tools

Qualifications

• 5+ years of multifamily maintenance experience.
• EPA Certification Type II or Universal required.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and general repairs skills.
• CPO certification and pool maintenance experience are a plus.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Reliable transportation and basic tools.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations for buildings, grounds, and amenities.
• Respond to service requests and turn units efficiently.
• Lead and train maintenance and grounds staff.
• Ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, Fair Housing).
• Manage vendor relationships, inventory, and maintenance budget.
• Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
