Job summary

Brookside Properties, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Supervisor for The Collins in Myrtle Beach to lead maintenance operations across buildings, grounds and amenities.

You will respond to service requests, turn units efficiently, and mentor maintenance and grounds staff while upholding safety and regulatory standards. The role requires 5+ years in multifamily maintenance, EPA Type II or Universal certification, and strong HVAC/electrical/plumbing skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of multifamily maintenance experience.
• EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) – required
• Skilled in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs
• CPO certification and pool maintenance experience – a plus
• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation and basic tools
• Strong communication and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations for buildings, grounds, and amenities
• Respond to service requests and turn units efficiently
• Lead and train maintenance and grounds staff
• Ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, Fair Housing)
• Manage vendor relationships, inventory, and maintenance budget
• Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
