Job summary

Ascension Commercial Real Estate is seeking an experienced Maintenance Lead for a property with 83 units in Houston, TX. The role oversees daily maintenance operations, coordinates repairs, and ensures safety and quality across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related systems.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in apartment maintenance, strong plumbing/electrical knowledge, and supervisory experience; HVAC certification and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of apartment maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• HVAC certification required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, perform, and assign maintenance and repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, lighting, boilers, and pool equipment.
• Communicate assignments, monitor progress, and coach the team.
• Ensure the team has complete instructions, supplies, tools, and safety equipment.
• Maintain a safe working environment and enforce all safety processes.
