Job description

Gray Residential is seeking to add a Maintenance Supervisor to the team at River Club Apartments. The ideal candidate builds relationships with residents and team members through excellent work and pride in the community.

The community features 444 apartments, with 150 renovated units including updated cabinets, countertops, sinks, faucets, lighting, and appliances. There are also 18 townhomes built in 2016. Examples of unrenovated and renovated apartments are provided.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: $60,000 plus renewal bonuses, rent discounts, and on-call bonuses

Key Responsibilities of a Maintenance Supervisor

• Perform hands-on tasks such as groundskeeping, inspections, unit punch, and responding to service requests
• Train and mentor maintenance technicians with high technical knowledge
• Communicate with the office team regarding leases and maintenance needs
• Manage preventative maintenance schedules
• Assess repair scenarios and perform fixes when possible before replacements
• Maintain professionalism with vendors, residents, and team members
• Keep the maintenance shop organized and stocked
• Participate in on-call rotations, including snow and ice removal
