Work Schedule:Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. This job function will be performed at the auction near Sacramento, CA. Candidate must reside in the Sacramento, CA or surrounding area as required to visit local physical auction site.

As a Physical Auction Supervisor, you'll spend your day guiding your team, ensuring procedures are followed and serving as a liaison between the customer, dealerships, vendors and financial institutions. The purpose of this position is to provide quality and efficient customer service by performing administrative duties related to the remarketing of vehicle returns. This position works with other team members to ensure that the daily workload of the center is completed.

The Work Itself
  • Assist in managing the remarketing activities at each auction, remarketing and storage location.
  • Create and nurture relationships with dealership and GM divisional contacts.
  • Assist in developing methods to minimize the expenses related to the disposal of vehicles.
  • Select, train and develop remarketing analysts.
  • Select locations for remarketing activities and manage the relationship between those locations and Ally.
The Skills You Bring
  • Associate / Bachelor's degree in business related discipline preferred.
  • High school or equivalent diploma required.
  • 4+ years in customer service or financial services industry is required.
  • Prior leadership experience is preferred.
  • Project management skills and ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
  • Strong decision making and demonstrated leadership ability.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
  • Knowledge of used vehicle market and distribution systems.
  • Strong analytical ability.
  • Extensive experience with and understanding of Ally operations and overall branch operations.

Base Pay Range : $65000 - $115000 USD An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications.
