Job summary

Cohen-Esrey Communities, LLC seeks a Maintenance Supervisor for Jefferson on the Lake in Kansas and Missouri. The role directs the maintenance team, inspects units, coordinates repairs, and ensures safety and curb appeal.

Travel between properties is required; the supervisor handles after-hours emergencies, supervises inventory, and works with management on priorities and budgets to deliver excellent resident service.

Qualifications

• Previous Maintenance Supervisor Experience
• 5+ years of Maintenance Experience
• Ability to bend, stoop, lift, carry, push or pull over 25lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to respond to after-hours emergencies.
• Valid Driver's License
• Basic tools required, to include personal smart phone technology.
• Reliable transportation with access to a vehicle suitable for safely transporting ladders & other maintenance equipment.
• Knowledge of property management systems and processes
• Painting, plumbing, and electrical experience
• Must have HVAC Certification

Responsibilities

• Maintain prompt response to all maintenance repair requests under direct supervision.
• Prepare vacant units for new resident move-ins.
• Ensure property meets Cohen-Esrey safety and appearance standards.
• Track inventory and coordinate with management on priorities and budget.
• Deliver superior customer service to residents as a key team member.
• Position based at Jefferson on the Lake property and may take calls as needed.

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring prompt customer service to all maintenance repair requests and preparing vacant units in preparation for new resident move-ins through direct supervision. You will ensure that the property meets all Cohen-Esrey standards for safety and appearance. You will keep track of inventory and partner with management on priorities and budget. The Maintenance Supervisor is an essential team member for Cohen-Esrey to deliver superior customer service to our residents. The position will be based at our Jefferson on the Lake property and is a working supervisor position that does take on calls.

• Minimum 2 years supervising others
• Associate or bachelor's degree (business, facilities, real estate, or related field)

Compensation*

$30-$33

*Final agreed-upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
