Pilgrim’s is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent to lead and coordinate maintenance across the facility in Nacogdoches, TX. You will oversee equipment uptime, safety, and maintenance execution to support production.

The role requires 3+ years of direct maintenance supervision, with preference for poultry processing or food manufacturing experience. Expect a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional weekends and eligibility for annual bonus and benefits.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of directly related maintenance supervision experience; poultry processing or food manufacturing preferred.
• Working knowledge of refrigeration, PLCs/electrical systems, plumbing, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems; strong leadership and problem‑solving skills; basic computer skills and Haz‑Mat qualification.

Mansioni

• Supervise maintenance team members performing repair, installation, and upkeep of plant equipment, buildings, and utility systems.
• Plan work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance to ensure timely and effective completion of maintenance activities.
• Maintain and inspect equipment to ensure safety, quality, and operational standards while minimizing downtime.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs to support equipment reliability and production efficiency.
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and support team members in resolving problems and improving technical capability.
• Support facility improvement projects, enforce company policies, and coordinate procurement of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.
