Job summary

INEOS Oxide in League City, TX seeks a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to direct the execution of asset maintenance activities, including preventative and corrective tasks, to meet production targets and reliability strategies.

You will lead safety initiatives, interface with operations and craft personnel, and ensure compliance with environmental and plant safety standards while coordinating with external vendors for efficient work delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years maintenance or operations experience in a petrochemical facility.
• Supervisory experience preferred; required if less than 5 years' experience in plant operations within the company.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Current, valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all maintenance activities are performed safely and in line with INEOS 20 Safety Principles and site policies.
• Plan and execute maintenance with proper safety reviews (e.g., hot work, confined space).
• Manage asset compliance with safety inspections, calibrations, and testing.
• Be a safety leader through field presence, safety observations, audits, and incident reporting.
• Coordinate with Operations, maintenance crews, reliability and external vendors to ensure smooth execution.
• Drive maintenance cost improvements and ensure alignment with budget and performance targets.
• Enter all maintenance service entries in SAP and resolve invoicing issues.
