Job summary

Dauch Corporation in Newton, NC is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead and coordinate maintenance activities in a high‑volume automotive assembly facility on the 3rd shift. You will manage maintenance technicians, prioritize work in real time, and drive reliability, uptime, and safety on the floor.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing maintenance, 2+ years of supervision, and strong CMMS expertise (SAP PM, Maximo, EAM).

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred).
  • 2+ years in supervisory or leadership roles.
  • CMMS experience with SAP PM, Maximo or EAM is required.
  • Experience with highly automated systems including robotics, conveyors, stamping, welding, and assembly operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead shift-based maintenance teams and coordinate activities in real time.
  • Prioritize maintenance work to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
  • Promote a safety-first culture and enforce OSHA-compliant practices on the floor.
  • Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs and analyze maintenance data.

Job Posting TitleMaintenance Supervisor, Assembly - 3rd ShiftJob Description SummaryDauch is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Newton, North Carolina working on the 3rd shift. This fully onsite role is responsible for leading and coordinating maintenance activities within an automotive manufacturing facility to ensure equipment reliability, maximize uptime, and support production goals. This role oversees maintenance technicians, implements preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and ensures compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.The ideal candidate brings extensive hands-on maintenance experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably in an automotive OEM or Tier 1 setting, along with demonstrated experience supervising or leading skilled trades teams. They possess a strong technical background in highly automated systems—including robotics, conveyors, stamping, welding, and assembly operations—and are comfortable working in lean, fast-paced production environments with demanding uptime and reliability expectations.
