Job summary

Akima Facilities Operations (AFO) seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance, testing, inspection, repair, servicing and processing of military and commercial equipment at Fort Sill, OK, following Army and OEM publications. The role requires strong supervisory skills and the ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams in a challenging environment.

The candidate will supervise maintenance activities, ensure compliance with regulations, prepare reports, and liaise with customers.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• 5+ years of documented supervisory experience in U.S. Army material maintenance.
• Skills in verbal and written communications to conduct meetings, execute plans, and prepare reports.
• Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.
• Real ID-compliant, state-issued driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive knowledge of materiel maintenance processes per Army regulations and OEM publications.
• Knowledge of installed product software and automated data processing policies for equipment support.
• Work in office and shop environments with exposure to dust, odors, oil, fumes and noise; lift up to 60 lbs.
• Other duties as assigned.
