Delaware Valley Job Corps in Callicoon, NY is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the day-to-day facilities maintenance, supervise staff and ensure a safe, functional campus. You will oversee projects, schedule preventive maintenance, manage budgets, and coordinate with contractors, while promoting energy conservation and a welcoming environment for students and staff.

This full-time role offers a $65,000 per year salary, Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm with weekends off, and a benefits package

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Degree from an accredited school or technical certification preferred.
• Three or more years of supervisory experience required.
• Electrician, HVAC, and/or Plumbing license preferred.
• Strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks including walking, climbing, reaching, lifting, pushing/pulling, stooping, and crouching.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the overall management and daily operations of facility maintenance
• Provide oversight and quality control for maintenance projects, contractors, and subcontracted work
• Help plan maintenance schedules, budgets, staffing, and training
• Supervise, train, and develop maintenance staff and Work-Based Learning students
• Coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance through the work order system
• Assist with construction and facility improvement projects
• Help develop and implement energy conservation initiatives
• Prepare scopes of work and monitor contractor performance
• Ensure maintenance activities meet local, Company, and government standards
• Identify problems, coordinate solutions, and follow through to ensure work is completed properly
• Promote a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for students and staff
