Job summary

Delaware Valley Job Corps is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Callicoon, NY to lead day-to-day facility maintenance and a team of technicians. You will oversee projects, manage contractors, and coordinate preventative work orders to keep campuses safe and functional.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 3+ years of supervisory experience, and preferred licenses in electrical, HVAC, or plumbing. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills are essential.

• Three+ years of supervisory experience required.
• Electrical, HVAC, or Plumbing license preferred.
• Strong leadership, organization, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with overall management and daily operations of facility maintenance.
• Provide oversight and quality control for maintenance projects, contractors, and subcontracted work.
• Plan maintenance schedules, budgets, staffing, and training.
• Supervise, train, and develop maintenance staff and Work-Based Learning students.
• Coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance through the work order system.
• Assist with construction and facility improvement projects.
• Help develop and implement energy conservation initiatives.
• Prepare scopes of work and monitor contractor performance.
• Ensure maintenance activities meet local, Company, and government standards.
• Identify problems, coordinate solutions, and follow through to ensure work is completed properly.
• Promote a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for students and staff
