Job summary

Conagra Brands is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the Denver, CO plant to lead the 3rd shift, ensuring production lines and equipment run efficiently. You will schedule work, manage the preventative maintenance system, and push for uptime and safety goals while upholding GMPs and food safety standards.

You will guide a maintenance team, address downtime trends, and drive continuous improvement in equipment reliability and plant availability, balancing cost effectiveness and quality.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Prior experience in a leadership/supervisory role
  • Working knowledge of plant equipment and safety standards

Job description

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor at our Denver, CO plant, local producers of Udi's Gluten Free products, you will lead the 3rd shift team members in the maintenance department to ensure production lines, affiliated equipment, and facilities operate efficiently. You will schedule work and workforce to meet production demands, maintain the preventative maintenance system, and strive to exceed the plant’s safety and uptime goals. You will help establish mechanical integrity and equipment reliability programs to ensure employee safety, provide environmental security, and maximize plant availability, product quality, and cost effectiveness. You will leverage internal and external resources to provide daily direction and solutions for the workforce. A Taste of Your Responsibilities Train, motivate, and direct employees to follow safe work methods and standard procedures for efficient use of resources. Monitor downtime occurrences and production line efficiencies, identifying maintenance and mechanical trends. Maintain equipment for efficient operation within budget while adhering to USDA regulations. Drive continuous improvement in maintenance team performance and production line efficiency. Participate in predictive and preventive maintenance activities. Evaluate PM/PDM activities and frequencies to optimize workforce and resources for maximum equipment reliability. Ensure a safe and healthy workplace by following all safety procedures and incorporating safety into every task. Foster a team concept that prioritizes personnel safety, food safety, and uptime. Follow GMPs, maintain sanitary conditions, and ensure product quality standards are met. Report any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, product quality, or personnel safety.

Physical Requirements

When visiting these sites, the physical requirements below may apply: You may be required to walk around the facility, climb stairs/ladders, kneel, or perform repetitive tasks that require hand-eye coordination. You may be required to lift or carry materials that can vary in weight and size. This is a manufacturing environment with large, moving equipment. Noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary.

Compensation

Pay Range:$64,000-$95,000 The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
