Job summary

The Marzetti Company in Horse Cave, KY is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a maintenance team, ensuring safe and efficient upkeep of production equipment and facilities. The role focuses on uptime, safety, quality, and adherence to corporate standards across the shift.

You will coordinate maintenance activities, implement preventive programs, supervise technicians, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with OSHA and internal policies.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance degree or technical certification preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of SAP knowledge and experience in manufacturing maintenance.
• Program Logic Controllers, Variable Frequency Drives, 480-volt electrical knowledge preferred.
• 3–5 years supervisory maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a food-related industry.
• Proficient in MS Office products, particularly Excel.
• Positive leadership and problem-solving mentality.
• Capable of communicating and expressing ideas clearly and concisely, in both written and verbal formats.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shift maintenance activities and supervise Maintenance Technicians.
• Ensure safety, quality, and production targets; support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain and optimize preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.

  • Maintains close workingrelationshipwith all departments and responds to deviations from standardsimmediately.
  • Responsiblefor &maintainspositive employee, corporate and community relations along with appropriateinterfacewith customer service, vendors & contractors.

  • Performs tasks or responsibilities as assigned by Management.
