Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee our 2nd shift at the Richmond, KY plant. You’ll support production, preventive maintenance, and safety standards while coaching a maintenance team.

The role requires detailed accuracy, problem solving, training records, and strong measuring skills with tools like micrometers. Requires 10+ years of related experience and a 4-year degree or HS diploma with experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college or university or HS Diploma/GED with 3-5 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• High standards of performance for self.

• Thorough, accurate, and reliable in performing tasks; shows honesty and integrity.

• Manage processes with detailed accuracy and discipline.
• Coaches and assists employees with problem solving.
• Teaches, trains, and records training with accuracy.
• Ensures quality standards are met.
• Ensures preventive maintenance activities are performed properly and on time.
• Monitors safety, housekeeping, and overall performance.
• Maintains attendance records and enforces handbook policies.
• Leads maintenance team to meet safety, quality, and production goals.
• Conducts toolbox talks daily to communicate effectively.
