Job summary

Tyson Foods in Council Bluffs, IA, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee all plant maintenance activities. You will lead maintenance technicians, collaborate with the Maintenance Manager, and drive reliable equipment, safety, and quality adherence.

The role requires 3+ years in maintenance, an associate degree, PLC, SAP, and strong communication. You will promote a Safety First culture and manage preventive maintenance to minimize downtime; weekend shift is possible.

Qualifications

Leadership and technical skills to lead, direct, evaluate, and train a team of maintenance technicians.
Capable of reducing machine downtime and diagnosing basic electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, plumbing, and electronic (PLC) issues.
Promotes a Safety First culture and maintains an effective preventive maintenance program.

Responsibilities

Lead and direct maintenance technicians to build a well-trained, motivated team.
Assist the Maintenance Manager in developing and implementing maintenance policies and procedures.
Oversee preventive maintenance and repairs of equipment to minimize downtime.
Ensure SQF Quality Management policies, procedures, and GMP practices are followed.
