Job summary

AUTOKINITON is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team within our operations, reporting to the Technical Services Manager. You will mentor staff, drive safety and reliability, and ensure alignment with production goals.

You will maintain and repair equipment, manage preventive maintenance schedules, and coordinate with engineering on process improvements. This on-site role requires flexibility across 1st and 3rd shifts in our Michigan facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial technology required; master's preferred.
• Minimum of six years as a maintenance supervisor; one year of management experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, welding and/or assembly processes as required for the position.
• First Shift 6a-2p; Third Shift 10p-6a available.

Maintenance Supervisor

RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Responsible for performance feedback and leadership of all direct reports including mentoring, coaching, counseling and corrective action when situations dictate.
• Responsible for maintenance department safety, quality, production and delivery objectives in his/her area of responsibility.
• Responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment to support production jobs.
• Responsible for managing the preventive maintenance schedules.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree in Applied Science in Manufacturing, Engineering or Industrial Technology preferred. Masters degree preferred.
• Minimum of six (6) years as a maintenance supervisor preferred, and one (1) year of management experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, welding and/or assembly processes as required for the position.
• First Shift 6a-2p
• Third Shift 10p-6a

This full-time, salary role is a part of our Operations team and reports to the Technical Services Manager.
