The Willamette Valley Co LLC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the Maintenance Department, ensuring operational readiness at the Washington location. You will monitor repairs, oversee preventive maintenance, and train mechanics to uphold high workmanship standards.

You will organize the shop, enforce safety, plan daily tasks for a 5-person crew, and coordinate with operations and vendors to optimize equipment availability and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as mechanic or millwright in manufacturing maintenance with minimum 2 years’ experience as supervisor.
• Education and Certifications a plus.

Responsabilités

• Monitor quality of work to ensure mechanical repairs are performed correctly and equipment is functioning properly after repairs.
• Oversee preventive maintenance tasks to maintain continuous production operation.
• Train maintenance mechanics in spotting issues during preventive maintenance and monitoring running equipment.
• Enforce good mechanical practices such as housekeeping and correct part usage.
• Champion safety practices and foster a safety-first culture.
• Organize shop, equipment, and parts to ensure readiness.
• Ensure detailed equipment rebuilds to optimize performance.
• Plan and assign tasks to a crew of 5 mechanics daily.
• Coordinate with operations to secure items and resources for department effectiveness.
• Arrange coverage for 24/7 on-call mechanics in operations.
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors on contracts and pricing.
