Job summary

James Hardie is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily maintenance operations in a 24/7 manufacturing environment at our Chicago-area facilities. You will coordinate with Maintenance Manager, Planner, and Technicians to maximize equipment availability and reliability.

You will develop plans to minimize breakdowns, drive safe practices, and mentor technicians while guiding CMMS integration and data-driven improvements across the plant.

Qualifications

• 3+ years maintenance supervision in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• 1+ year planning/scheduling experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical technical knowledge.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement plans to reduce breakdowns and optimize maintenance.
• Ensure safe operation and equipment availability.
• Lead and train maintenance technicians.
• Support CMMS integration and data management.
• Collaborate with plant leadership to improve downtime metrics.
