Job summary

TreeHouse Foods, Dixon, IL, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the day-to-day maintenance operations of our Dixon plant, ensuring machinery and systems run safely and efficiently. You will supervise a team of maintenance technicians, plan preventive maintenance, and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management or a related field is a plus.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, quality control procedures, and inventory management.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and SAP procurement software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians to ensure proper maintenance practices and timely repairs.
• Assign tasks and prioritize maintenance activities based on urgency and criticality of equipment.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to reduce downtime.
• Monitor inspections, lubrication, cleaning, and calibration of machinery and equipment.
• Coordinate emergency repairs to minimize downtime and disruption to operations.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety standards and company policies.
• Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation of activities and inspections.
• Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
