Qualifications

• Five years of maintenance experience, including at least 2 in a production environment.
• Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
• Strong electrical and mechanical skills.
• B.S. degree or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to read and write English; detail oriented and proficient in mathematics.
• Must pass background check, drug screen, and E-verify; basic computer skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance department and attain department goals for costs, productivity, quality, and safety.
• Perform on-the-job inspections to ensure safe habits, safe areas, workmanship quality, and maintenance effectiveness.
• Prepare work schedules and work order assignments to support maintenance and production needs.
• Evaluate and schedule maintenance repair requests for timely completion.
• Develop on-the-job training programs and maintain training records; train on new equipment; test skill levels.
• Inspect equipment for needed repairs; coordinate repair actions.
• Provide continuous training programs as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
• Other duties as assigned.
