Job summary

Foster Poultry Farms in Demopolis, AL is seeking a Sanitation (General Labor) on 1st shift. You will perform entry-level duties across fryer, packing, sanitation, and supply functions to support production goals, with emphasis on safety, quality, and adherence to GMP and USDA standards.

The role requires ability to stand for long periods, read and write English, basic math, and reliable transportation; HS diploma or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write English.
• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Able to stand for up to 10 hours on a wet concrete floor and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Observe stick bar assemblies as they rotate and are inserted.
• Monitor stick bars for broken pieces and notify Fryer Operator.
• Count broken sticks with handheld counter; use flashlight for inspection.
• Perform packing duties, inspecting and boxing frozen products.
• Maintain good housekeeping and sanitary conditions on the production floor.
• Inspect products for quality and compliance with standards.
• Stack cases of frozen items onto pallets and transport with pallet jack.
• Manage PPE supply room and keep bootroom and restrooms clean.
