CAMACO LLC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to support the Maintenance Manager in troubleshooting, repairs, and nightly preventive maintenance for plant equipment. This role involves supervising maintenance staff, setting up production tools, and coordinating installation of new and rebuilt equipment.

The position requires a high school diploma with Journeyman training in Machine Repair or equivalent experience, plus 5+ years in related work.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair plant machinery and equipment.
  • Provide nightly preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Supervise maintenance staff and projects.
  • Set up and operate production tools and equipment for production readiness.
  • Install and overhaul equipment and systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing).
  • Maintain building and grounds; perform other duties as assigned.

Job Position RecordJob Title:Maintenance SupervisorDepartment:MaintenanceJob Description:To assist the Maintenance Manager in all functional and operations activities in plant maintenance, which includes troubleshooting, repairs, nightly preventative maintenance procedures, and supervision of all subordinate maintenance staff. Involves setting up and operating various types of production tools and equipment prior to approving for production use.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Provide daily support to plant operations.Troubleshoot and repair problems with plant machinery & equipment.Implementation and installation of new and rebuilt equipment.Operate machinery, tools, gages, forklift equipment and booms.Electrical 480 v 3 phase, basic wiring of lights, presses and welders.Installation of plumbing, water, drain and air systems for presses, welders and building.Maintenance of building and grounds during all seasons.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsRequired Education & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent, plus formal training leading to Journeyman status in Machine Repair and/or equivalent on the job experience.Advanced working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.5 plus years of related work experience.Successful completion of all courses and/or tests outlined in the Department Training Phases I, II & III.CompetenciesTechnical CapacityAdvanced equipment troubleshooting skillsWorking knowledge of NEC and ANSI codesFamiliarity with automotive specificationsKnowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, electrical and hydraulic systems sufficient to diagnose and repair machines.Computer skills and math skills sufficient to perform department related tasks required.Communication skills to communicate and interact with all levels of employees.Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position oversees the maintenance team and manages all associated projects.Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works on the plant floor.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
