Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for its Hillside, NJ operations to lead maintenance teams and ensure safe, reliable production across multiple facilities. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, root cause analysis, and strong safety practices within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in technical maintenance, supervisory experience, and a solid GMP/safety background.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of technical maintenance experience in food manufacturing, packaging, or process environments.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong background in preventive maintenance and root cause troubleshooting.
• Experience with GMP compliance and safety standards.
• Proficient with MS Office, CMMS, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance personnel to support full manufacturing operations.
• Ensure Job Hazard Analysis execution and OSHA compliance.
• Perform and oversee mechanical, electrical, pipefitting, and rigging duties.
• Execute and manage preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Prioritize and assign shift resources effectively.
• Train employees on safety, operational procedures, and equipment best practices.
• Drive root cause analysis and troubleshooting initiatives.
• Maintain GMP standards and eliminate environmental and safety hazards.
• Analyze maintenance performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with management to improve safety, production quality, equipment reliability, and OEE.
• Maintain discipline, morale, and employee development within assigned shift.
• Utilize CMMS and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Work from schematics, diagrams, and technical prints.
• Support emergency and scheduled repairs.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed

Qualifications – Needed

• Experience or strong background in food manufacturing maintenance, GMP compliance, and safety standards
• Strong background in preventive maintenance systems and root cause troubleshooting
• Proven ability to lead maintenance teams in a fast‑paced production environment

• Strong analytical skills and ability to improve equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency
