As a Maintenance Supervisor, your day involves juggling multiple responsibilities. You are a cheerful, performance-driven, resident-focused, hardworking, and mentor-like individual who goes the extra mile. Your passion lies in quality, service excellence, and team coaching.
Essential qualities for being the best Maintenance Supervisor include:
• Being responsible for the performance of the service team and serving as a positive role model.
• Supporting the Property Manager in maintaining community and corporate standards, policies, and procedures.
• Ensuring all safety measures are enforced.
• Providing coaching, mentoring, and setting personal goals for your staff.
• Scheduling daily activities efficiently while monitoring quality and quantity.
• Familiarity with property budgets and long-range planning.
• Maintaining the shop, equipment, supplies, inventory, and security.
• Inspecting routes and models to ensure they look their best.
• Providing excellent customer service to residents and team members.
Your qualifications include:
• At least 2 years of experience managing maintenance in a community setting.
• Successful leadership of a team for at least 1 year.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies.
• Proficiency in English (speaking, writing, understanding).
• Computer skills and related applications.
• A good sense of humor and the ability to be genuinely funny.
