Job summary

The 50Twenty Apartments in Madison, WI is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate maintenance, grounds, and cleaning teams and keep property standards. The role requires hands-on repair work across plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and appliance systems, plus customer service and on-call duties.

You will work with the Property Manager on budgeting and vendor bids, prepare vacant units, and help ensure market-ready conditions while mentoring staff and supporting resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Substantial knowledge and hands-on experience repairing plumbing, appliances, HVAC systems, electrical issues, pool maintenance, carpentry, and building exteriors.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to the Property Manager by delegating tasks to maintenance, grounds, and cleaning teams to maintain property standards.
• Troubleshoot and address a wide range of residential service requests promptly and professionally.
• Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy by performing repairs to return units to market-ready condition.
• Communicate unresolved issues to the Property Manager for timely resolution.
• Perform on-call emergency services within a rotation to provide timely repairs for residents.
• Contribute to annual budgeting by partnering with vendors, obtaining bids for capital projects, and managing inventory.
