Job summary

Sensient Agricultural Ingredients, located in Turlock, CA, is seeking a swing shift Maintenance Mechanic III to service processing equipment in a wet and dry manufacturing environment. You will perform preventative maintenance, carry out emergency repairs, and troubleshoot complex issues to ensure safe, efficient plant operation.

The role requires at least 4 years of manufacturing maintenance experience, including electrical repairs on 480V 3-phase motors, with a focus on reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in manufacturing performing maintenance and electrical repairs on equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment, including engines, motors (480V 3 phase), pneumatic tools, pumps, HVAC equipment and production machines.
• Understanding of basic hydraulics, electrical, welding and HVAC equipment.
• Interest in learning how to use and maintain new equipment.
• Adaptability to do different activities each day with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative mechanical maintenance on machinery and equipment as well as emergency repairs and follow plant safety and environmental guidelines while completing daily tasks to ensure both you and your colleagues are kept safe.
• Utilize measuring and testing instruments to locate sources of problems, remove defective parts and adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.
• Troubleshoot and complete complex repairs to equipment while effectively communicating problem with equipment to fellow employees and/or vendors.
• Perform complex repairs to electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatical, and natural gas fired equipment to ensure plant is operating at peak efficiency.

We are looking for a swing shift Maintenance Mechanic III to join our team and be a vital member of the operations team. You will perform a wide range of maintenance and repair activities in both mechanical and electrical disciplines on processing equipment in a wet and dry manufacturing environment. What you’ll do:

The hourly wage range for this position is $37.00 - 48.00 USD. Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions.
