We are looking for a Superintendent of Operations to join our team and support the Agricultural Ingredients business in Livingston, California. You will serve as the primary supervisor for all facility‑wide activities and primary administrative responsibilities during a given shift. This position is the highest acting authority on site during off hours, with a primary focus on meeting production schedules while maintaining product quality and a safe working environment.

What you’ll do

• Assure proper and efficient use of staff and equipment to meet production needs on assigned shifts while maintaining cost and overtime to a minimum.
• Ensure all product is produced to product specifications.
• Assists in maintaining, creating, and enforcing accurate policies and procedures across the entire facility.
• Accommodates training of assigned shift employees to ensure their knowledge and understanding of all policies and procedures relating to safety, quality, and productivity for their assigned areas.
• Analyzes area operations and recommends measures for continuous improvement, and supports and promotes employee involvement in continuous improvement programs.
• Works with the Production Manager, Plant Manager, and Quality Supervisor to improve production efficiency and product quality.

These ingredients are used in many of today’s popular convenience foods. The Agricultural Ingredients unit is located in Turlock, California.

The salary range for this position is $97,000 - $110,000 USD. Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions. In addition to salary, Sensient is proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits program to support the holistic well‑being of our employees and their families. This position is also eligible for performance‑based incentive pay.
