Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic, experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at a hospitality property in California. The role focuses on managing maintenance activities, ensuring safety, and upholding brand standards while delivering great guest experiences.

You’ll supervise maintenance staff, coordinate preventative maintenance, and respond to guest requests. We value hands-on leadership, teamwork, and a commitment to quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School education, post high school education preferred.
• Minimum of one year in a hotel maintenance position, supervisory role preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general carpentry.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• To ensure that all maintenance functions, including preventative maintenance are following company and
• brand standards for compliance and safety
• Ensures fulfillment of preventative maintenance programs o brand standards including equipment, heating
• and air conditioning units, ice machines, fire extinguishers/smoke alarms, plumbing
• Completes preventative maintenance in guest rooms and public space
• Ensures swimming pool and spa maintenance duties are performed according to brand standards and health department regulations
• Proactively follow specific departmental procedures in performing repair, maintenance, alteration, and installation work in a safe and neat manner.
• Delegate, supervise, and participate in all preventive and general maintenance programs by maintaining a room's maintenance strategy and scheduling preventive maintenance
• Assists other departments in fulfilling guest requests and resolving guest concerns
• Educated hotel personnel on emergency procedures and safety precautions
• Acts as Manager on Duty when required
• Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of High School education, post high school education preferred
• Minimum of one (1) year in a hotel maintenance position, supervisory role preferred
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general carpentry
