Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group in Rohnert Park, California, is seeking an energetic Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. You will oversee maintenance operations and lead a hands-on team to keep our properties running smoothly, while ensuring safety and compliance with brand standards.

The ideal candidate has at least one year in hotel maintenance, strong HVAC/plumbing/electrical knowledge, and the ability to multitask and lead others.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School education; post high school preferred.
• Minimum of one year in a hotel maintenance position; supervisory experience preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maintenance functions follow brand standards for compliance and safety.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and equipment.
• Complete maintenance in guest rooms and public spaces.
• Maintain pool and spa equipment per brand standards and health regulations.
• Supervise and delegate preventive and general maintenance programs.
• Assist other departments with guest requests and concerns.
• Act as Manager on Duty when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• To ensure that all maintenance functions, including preventative maintenance are following company and
• brand standards for compliance and safety
• Ensures fulfillment of preventative maintenance programs o brand standards including equipment, heating
• and air conditioning units, ice machines, fire extinguishers/smoke alarms, plumbing
• Completes preventative maintenance in guest rooms and public space
• Ensures swimming pool and spa maintenance duties are performed according to brand standards and health department regulations
• Proactively follow specific departmental procedures in performing repair, maintenance, alteration, and installation work in a safe and neat manner.
• Delegate, supervise, and participate in all preventive and general maintenance programs by maintaining a room's maintenance strategy and scheduling preventive maintenance
• Assists other departments in fulfilling guest requests and resolving guest concerns
• Educated hotel personnel on emergency procedures and safety precautions
• Acts as Manager on Duty when required
• Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of High School education, post high school education preferred
• Minimum of one (1) year in a hotel maintenance position, supervisory role preferred
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general carpentry
