Job summary

Midland-Marvel Recruiters, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems at our Whitestown facility. The role is a 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 8am–4:30pm, with supervision of two technicians and a focus on safety and reliability.

Responsibilities include developing maintenance schedules, evaluating systems, coordinating with contractors on TI projects, managing PMs, and ensuring GMPs and SQF compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent is required.
• Maintenance experience is required.
• Knowledge of building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC).

Responsibilities

• Develop maintenance procedures and schedules.
• Oversee maintenance technicians (2 staff).
• Evaluate building systems to determine repairs.
• Plan work assignments and project schedules for building systems.
• Ensure maintenance/repair work is completed correctly and on time.
• Assist with departmental budget estimates for repair projects.
• Perform daily and weekly Preventive Maintenance (PM).
• Coordinate with contractors on TI projects for piping, air compressors, water, and electrical.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Ensure GMPs and SQF Compliance.

Job description

The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), carpentry, painting, and other building systems.

1st Shift Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm

Bilingual Spanish would be a huge plus

Duties/ Responsibilities:

• Develop maintenance procedures and schedules.
• Oversee 2 maintenance technicians
• Evaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.
• Assesses building systems to plan work assignments and project schedules, such as Installation of Extrusion & Thermoforming Equipment
• Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner.
• Assists with departmental budget estimates and costs of specific repair projects.
• Daily and weekly Preventive Maintenance (PM)
• Assist and communicate with contractors on new TI projects for piping, air compressors, water, and electrical.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• GMPs and SQF Compliance are required.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, electrical, mechanical and PLC troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read electrical schematics and print drawings
• Ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed.
• Ability to plan maintenance schedules for building systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Attention to detail; able to recognize, troubleshoot and repair equipment.

Education and Experience:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent required.
• Maintenance experience required.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to traverse property and facility to diagnose building issues and plan repairs or maintenance.
• Must be physically able to perform repairs when needed.

Must be able to lift 75-100 pounds at a time.
