We are hiring for a Maintenance Supervisor on our 1st shift.

You will report to the shift supervisor and join a team of over 235 members.

You will work onsite at our food manufacturing plant in Kent, WA.

Job Summary

Oversee the maintenance department, production lines, and related equipment, buildings, and grounds. Schedule work and personnel to meet production demands, maintain the preventative maintenance system, and work toward meeting the plant's safety and uptime goals. Control maintenance expenses by managing overtime and parts expenses weekly.

Position Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule employees to control labor costs.
• Monitor downtime to maintain operations.
• Monitor production line efficiencies, focusing on maintenance and mechanical trends.
• Train, motivate, and direct employees to follow safe work practices, food safety standards, and promote team achievement.
• Maintain cooperative relationships with USDA officials.
• Purchase supplies and repair parts, ensuring quality.
• Monitor machinery and equipment to ensure team safety.
• Enforce the plant's safety program, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Maintain equipment for efficient operation within the maintenance budget, operating within USDA regulations.
• Seek continuous improvement in maintenance employees and production line efficiencies.
• Own predictive and preventive maintenance activities, including oil analysis, vibration analysis, engine-compressor analysis, and infrared thermography. Knowledge of electronic and electrical principles is required.
• Evaluate PM/PDM activities and frequencies to optimize resource use and maximize equipment reliability.

Position Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field preferred.
• At least 3 years of maintenance supervisory experience.

Compensation

Annual Base Salary: $78,000 - $106,000

The actual salary will depend on location, experience, skills, and internal equity. Conagra Brands complies with applicable laws regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
