Job summary

Colonial Pipeline Company is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of technicians, oversee maintenance of pipeline facilities, and ensure safe, reliable operations across a dynamic energy network. Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 5+ years in pipeline maintenance or similar oil & gas role.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
  • Willingness to work extended hours including weekends/holidays.
  • Ability to obtain HAZWOPER and Operator Qualification certifications.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communicator and team builder.
  • Proficient with Maximo, Oracle Procurement and Enablon.
  • Experience budgeting, decision-making and performance management.

  • Lead hands-on troubleshooting and repair of industrial systems.
  • Support facility operations with expertise in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.

About the Supervisor of Maintenance Position

What You Bring to the Table:
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) from an accredited educational institution.
  • Ideally, 5+ years of experience in pipeline maintenance or similar oil & gas role.
  • Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record to drive company and personal vehicles to perform required tasks.
  • Work extended hours, as needed, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to obtain HAZWOPER and Operator Qualification certifications.

Physical Requirements & Work Conditions: Work indoors and outdoors at all hours in all weather conditions near refined petroleum products. Physical mobility to sit, stand, reach, pull, push and bend. Digital dexterity for operation of calculator, PC keyboard and mouse. Hearing in the normal range Lift up to 20 pounds. Speak at a normal voice range. Climb stairs, vertical ladders up to 10 ft. and tank steps as high as 60 ft. Normal visual acuity for reading VDT screen, pressure charts and control panel counters. Physical mobility to walk, sit, stand, reach, pull, push and bend. Physical strength to open and close manually operated valves and pressure vessel (trap, strainers, and filter) closures.
