Job summary

Catalina Island Camps seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead the year-round maintenance and operation of remote island camp facilities and infrastructure. This hands-on leadership role oversees safety, reliability, and upkeep of buildings, utilities, vehicles, boats, grounds, equipment, and program areas.

Requires leadership and skilled trades experience across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and more.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance teams and coordinating preventive maintenance programs.
• Strong problem-solving skills with hands-on trade knowledge across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical systems, marine equipment, or construction.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance staff and operations year-round on Santa Catalina Island.
• Oversee preventive maintenance, repairs, and facility improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

This hands-on leadership position oversees the safety, reliability, and upkeep of buildings, utilities, vehicles, boats, grounds, equipment, and program areas. Responsibilities include supervising maintenance staff, preventive maintenance, facility improvement projects, and compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. We are looking for an experienced facilities professional with strong leadership and problem-solving skills and experience in skilled trades such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical systems, marine equipment, small engines, or construction.

Salary: $72,500–$80,000 + on-site housing and meals
