2026 Seasonal Positions Available

We’re hiring for the upcoming season! These roles are ideal for individuals passionate about conservation, outdoor recreation, and hospitality. You’ll play a vital role in preserving and sharing the natural beauty of this iconic region.

Campground Openings

We currently have openings at Rose Canyon & Showers Point. Both locations offer a distinct work environment:

  • Site counts range from 7 to 30 per campground.
  • Amenities vary: some sites include hookups for water, electricity, or sewer, while others provide a rustic, off‑grid experience.
  • Responsibilities differ by location, offering a diverse and dynamic work experience.
Work Schedule & Compensation

Expected weekly hours: 20‑25, with potential fluctuations based on business and staffing needs.

Stipends and amenities vary by campground and will be discussed during the application process.

Summary

The Camp Host Lead is assigned to a selected recreation area (or cluster of smaller areas) within a larger recreation complex. This may include a large campground or day‑use area, or a cluster of campgrounds and use areas. The Lead Host reports directly to an Operations Manager, and is responsible for the personnel (including training, and scheduling), regular operations, financial accountability, facility maintenance, equipment use and care, tool use, care, and storage, within the assigned campground.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee general operations within the permitted area; correct any operational deficiencies to comply with permit, operating plan, and company operating standards.
  • Supervise and train hosts and maintenance personnel according to established procedures and develop effective working relationships.
  • Assist in conducting training workshops, including new hire orientation at the start of each season and ongoing safety tailgate meetings.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with fellow employees, governmental agency representatives, and the visiting public.
  • Handle visitor complaints and rule violations in a courteous and professional manner, seeking to resolve situations quickly and effectively.
  • Troubleshoot and respond to situations as they occur within permitted areas.
  • Make suggestions and recommendations to improve or streamline operations.
  • Perform manual labor tasks, including certain construction and maintenance tasks; assist maintenance personnel in routine duties.
  • Clean bathrooms/Vault toilets as part of duties.
  • Assist/participate in all phases of fee collection, facility and grounds maintenance tasks, and water and utility system testing as needed.
  • Secure, process and maintain all records pertaining to deposits and revenues, and submit reports as directed.
  • Report unsafe or hazardous conditions as discovered, and enforce rules according to company customer service standards.
Requirements
  • Strong customer service skills; enjoys working in an environment of extensive public contact.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexible, adaptable and resilient.
  • Prior personnel management experience a plus; open to feedback and possesses a desire for continuous learning.
  • Possesses common sense and good judgement; able to make decisions within the boundaries of this position.
  • Basic manual labor abilities, including a willingness to clean and sanitize facilities with a variety of cleaning agents and chemicals.
  • Ability and willingness to move about the facility for extended periods of time and occasionally lift 20+ lbs.
  • Solid administrative abilities and computer skills, including recordkeeping and money handling.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision and learn quickly and follow instructions accurately.
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule, including regular evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • RV/trailer/rig or manufactured converted van required. Must be fully contained.
