Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires deep knowledge of hospital building systems and relevant codes (NFPA 99/101/110).
• Ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and control problems.
• Experience leading or training maintenance staff and coordinating vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead technician for critical building systems including emergency power, medical gas, fire/life safety, HVAC, and water systems.
• Inspect and test emergency generators and transfer switches per NFPA 110.
• Maintain medical gas, vacuum systems per NFPA 99.
• Supervise and train Maintenance staff I and II; coordinate with vendors.
• Document inspection and maintenance records for regulatory surveys.
• Respond to emergencies and after-hours requests; support capital projects.
