Salary: $73,000 - $124,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications, plus bonus potential

Overview: The Maintenance Supervisor coordinates installation, repair, and maintenance of facilities and machinery, working with technicians and maintenance staff. Responsibilities include organizing maintenance operations, providing technical support, ensuring safety standards, and supervising staff to ensure timely and budget-compliant work.

Responsibilities:

• Develop maintenance schedules aligned with organizational goals, monitor PM compliance (SAP recordkeeping)
• Inspect facilities proactively, identify issues, and recommend repairs
• Support staff recruitment, onboarding, and training
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
• Supervise 4 Maintenance Leads and 13 Technicians, inspecting work quality
• Create work orders, assign tasks, and track progress
• Communicate policies and updates to staff, address challenges with management
• Ensure jobs are completed on time, within budget, and safely
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to support maintenance needs
• Manage inventory of materials and spare parts
• Assist in developing maintenance procedures and preventive programs
• Contribute to annual maintenance budgeting and recommend system upgrades
• Participate in projects such as remodeling or renovations
• Perform daily equipment maintenance and manage lubrication strategies
• Ensure safety compliance and regulatory adherence
• Communicate with building occupants to resolve service requests

Knowledge, Training, and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; High School Diploma or GED required
• At least 8 years of maintenance experience, preferably in food manufacturing
• Proficiency in production equipment, systems, and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of food safety standards (SQF, BRC) and safety regulations
• Excellent communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Basic math skills and analytical ability to interpret data
• Ability to present information to management and lead teams
• Strong knowledge of building trades, safety, and maintenance practices
• Effective budgeting and performance management skills
